2000m Up In Chamonix

Ceremony

Have your Protestant wedding ceremony at the 'Temple' in Chamonix. A lovely little church seating approximately 100 people, your friends and family can blow bubbles or throw flower petals upon you exiting the chapel. Toast with a  glass of champagne before boarding the little red mountain cog train taking you up in altitude.

Reception

The Mer de Glace, or sea of ice, is 14km long with views on the legendary Aiguilles des Drus. You and your family and friends will celebrate up at 1913 meters in a historically rich hotel that was built in the late 1800's to accommodate mountaineers and travelers coming to visit this spectacular natural site. Once the last tourist has gone you will have this exceptional place all to yourselves. Toast to your eternal happiness in an authentic setting where memories of 19th century writers, mountaineers and adventurers have left their mark on Chamonix’s history.  Feel the coolness of the glacier as you step outside for a breath of fresh air, and soak in the powerful beauty around you between dances. Your special day will be unique and filled with a sense of adventure that will leave its mark on your personal history.
