This adventure loving British couple had a thrilling wedding weekend in the French Alps with an altitude wedding in the clouds, a cozy reception, and a post-wedding chalet cookout.

This young and fun couple was from the UK, as were most of their guests. They wanted to tie the knot with a backdrop like no other. It was an easy choice to marry in the famous Alps village of Chamonix because they both loved the ski culture and the extreme nature of this valley.

The couple rented out a quirky chalet with tons of charm that all of their closest friends and family enjoyed together for the weekend. The days before the wedding were spent taking hikes around the valley and exploring all the bustling city center has to offer year-round.

The morning of the wedding day was beautiful. All of the girls prepared with mimosas and memories. The first looks and couple photos were in the valley, on a bridge over a glacier river to add another private but dramatic element to the big day!

All of the guests were picked up by our in house private transfer and taken to the bottom of the Le Tour Col de Balme lift. They were greeted with a glass of bubbly in signature P&B cups before heading to almost 2,200m in altitude on the cable car. They traveled from the valley floor through the clouds to the altitude restaurant venue with a beautiful terrace where the ceremony was held.

The guests mingled on the terrace with a punch before taking their seats. The grooms almost identical brother acted as the officiant for the symbolic ceremony. He added his own comedic flair to the big day and reminisced over the couple’s almost 8 years together. They had traveled all over the world together sharing so many memories in each continent.

After the ceremony, everyone took the cable car back down to the cabin-inspired restaurant for cocktail hour and reception! Everyone sipped champagne and took photos while the live music played through the Alps air. Everyone found their seats for speeches and a delish 3-course dinner of French cuisine.

After everyone was stuffed, the couple led everyone to the dance floor for the cake with sparklers and the first dance. Pippa changed into a stunning and causal combo as she danced across the floor. The party really got started and everyone was singing along to the English hits mash-up band.

The morning came too soon as some guests said their goodbyes at the farewell cookout at the chalet. We know everyone will be dying to come back to the Alps soon! Congrats P&B, see you next ski season!
