Carine & Patrick

This power couple said I do at an incredible venue at altitude for their destination wedding. This glacier terrace wedding venue was the perfect place to tie the knot and the private refuge on the mountainside fit the intimate guest list so well.

The morning was simple. Hair and makeup in a beautiful Alpine chalet. The couple and their guests rode the famous Mer de Glace train to the glacier view hotel with incredible views of the Chamonix valley.

The ceremony was beautiful with tall florals at the end of an aisle rather than an arch. A friend of the bride wore a red power suit to officiate the wedding and she matched the varying colors of red that the bridesmaids wore.

They incorporated their mixed families into the ceremony. They had each of their children mix gems together in a large vase. They would later mail the stones to be melted and made into a beautiful work of art. We loved this idea!

The hotel was decorated after for a cozy intimate party. Skis were set up with photos of each guest along with their favorite memory. Guests were encouraged to sign an antique pair of skis and take new photos in the photo booth. Live music played all night long as the guests danced the night away in their private refuge in the Alps.

The guests were awoken by the smell of fresh croissants in the morning. A laid back brunch was served as the guests spent the morning exploring the ice cave and gondolas below.
