Lexie & Jack are a stunning couple whose love for travel, food and the finer things in life has brought them some incredible experiences. Each couple is different and we help plan weddings that are tailored to their likes and priorities.

One thing this couple knew they wanted was privacy in Provence and 5-star Michelin meal for all of their closest loved ones with new flavors to try.

We found the perfect place for their dream welcome dinner with a menu to match their exquisite taste. This venue had great outdoor space with stunning views at sunset. There was a stone fountain that we decorated with cascading florals.

Everything about the Provence region is slow and dreamy and the couple wanted to really share that with their guests. Here you can look out and feel a true sense of stillness and calm.

Everyone enjoyed sipping cocktails with appetizers such as tapenade, oysters, and fried artichoke. They mingled on the terrace and by the pool watching the sunset behind the clouds before taking their seats for dinner.

Dinner was really spectacular. First a green pesto soup with garlic and basil. Followed by a shot of frozen absinthe from the Alpes de Haute-Provence region. Then for the next course a leg of lamb that was cooked to perfection.  For the dessert a sweet peach pavlova with lavender sorbet.

All of the siblings and close friends took turns saying speeches that both flattered and embarrassed the couple. Everyone laughed along because this welcome dinner everyone knew each other so nothing was off-limits. Everyone felt so comfortable that the dancing began early. Everyone enjoyed the night as the temperature fell and it turned into a beautiful breezy summer night.

Before this delicious dinner, this couple greeted all of their guests by hosting a welcome party in Gordes at the Bastide that they privatized for the weekend.

This was just the beginning of a wonderful wedding weekend in Provence. If you loved this blog you will love reading about their Fairytale Bastide Wedding.
