Every Easter Monday, a small town towards the South of France uses about 15,000 eggs to create a giant omelet feast for the events 10,000 guests. This tradition started when Napoleon Bonaparte and his army ate with a local innkeeper and really enjoyed her omelets. Then he asked everyone in the village to collects their eggs for a massive omelet for his army to eat the next day.

-The Marché des Potiers is a giant pottery market in Bandol in the Cote d’Azur region that showcases ceramics, sculpture, and design. This market takes over the city as it expands to the harbor-side.

-In the age-old city of Antibes, another Antique market awaits. This open-air market has been around for many many years. Back in the 1950’s this city had visitors like Picasso and Monet, so you never know what treasures are hidden along the streets.

-The Musée du Chocolat holds an Easter egg hunt in the 10th arrondissement of Paris with a wide variety of treats for every taste pallet.

-The Jardin d’Acclimation in the 16th arrondissement of Paris will be hiding 15,000 eggs and one with a grand prize. This event is one of the biggest Easter egg hunts in the capital.

-Chamonix holds it’s own Alps Easter Egg hunt with Blanchot the Easter Bunny who decides the winner of the children’s nest competition after its city center hunt.
