This glitzy city on the Mediterranean coast is known for its upscale casinos, yacht-lined harbor and events like the Grand Prix Race. But there is so much more to see in this historic country!

The Musée Océanographique is a beautiful maritime museum built right on the cliffside. The views from the museum are almost as interesting as the history inside. Visit the Salle Garnier opera house and theater to see incredible performances or just to see the ornate architecture and interior design inside.

Take a nice walk or any of the local bus’ to take a peek into the royal life at Prince Albert’s Palace the House of Grimaldi. The views from his Palace will leave you in awe. On your way to the sandy beaches, you can visit the Jardin Exotic Japanese Garden which is located right on the water.

A must see in Monaco is the casino square. Right in the center is a beautiful fountain in front of a regular line-up of Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s and exotic cars. During the day you can tour the Monte Carlo Casino, try your luck, and hear all about the history behind the grand walls. During the night you have to be dressed in black tie attire to enter and play the tables. Our favorite places to wine and dine include Le Louis XV (if you are in the mood for a James Bond-esque experience), la Plage de la Note Bleue, the Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo and Avenue 31.

There are so many things to do and places to see in Monaco. We always recommend guests take a visit when they attend weddings in the South of France. If you have any questions or comments on having your own destination wedding in Monaco, contact us!
