Jemma & Jerome

This couple said I do in a famous Morzine farmhouse wedding was absolute perfection. This simple wedding was focused on all the most important factors – good company, intimate moments, and of course celebrating the big little moments in life.

The wedding was held in a quaint Alps style farmhouse located in the famous village of Morzine. The venue itself is full of history and culture with views like no other. This beautifully restored home used to be owned by the mayor of Morzine and once was even the jail – the old cell has been converted into a cozy room off of the garden.

On the property, there are 3 separate buildings so guests can stay on-site and the couple can get ready without ever seeing each other before the first look. This venue has many rooms and private suites for your guests. The owner has decorated everything in authentic Alpine style and even thrown in some decor from their trips around the world to South Africa and India! Every room comes with all of the amenities and each has a bathroom. Everything from the doorways to sinks to fireplaces has been restored to perfect condition.

The ceremony and dinner were held in the gardens. The ceremony had a stunning view overlooking the town of Morzine and the church tower. Jemma walked down the aisle on her mom’s arm with a view of the alpine village and a vegetable patch at her feet.

Guests mingled with Pimm’s cocktails by the fountain in another garden before being seated in long rectangular tables beneath bunting and fairy lights.

When the sunset the magic continued with tea lights, moon lanterns hanging from the trees and shepherd’s hooks, twinkling stars and dancing with sparklers.
