The Cap Ferrat is one of the most privileged and pristine enclaves on the Côte d’Azur. It is not difficult to see why Randi and Duncan have chosen this as their wedding location. This beautiful seaside village has always attracted a global audience from Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin, Picasso, Paul McCartney, Frank Sinatra, and Elizabeth Taylor, to name a few.

Embodying the classic glamour and timeless chic of the French Riviera, Villa Ephrussi is one of the Côte d’Azur’s most iconic residences. Villa Ephrussi is a true haven for art collectors and is adorned with furniture, porcelain, and paintings by the Grand Masters. It is a unique and extravagant – a true reflection of the region.

Let’s start with a little history of our couple. Randi and Duncan met in Atlanta, Georgia, in October 2018, when Randi was visiting for work. They developed a quick bond and despite a memorable stormy and windy, after-work evening, the sparks flew. A feeling that neither of them had ever had before, and one which they could ignore. It was quite simply, love at first sight.

Despite living in different states, they spent every subsequent weekend together. Their love, and presumably Airmiles accounts, blossomed. After only 5 months of dating, Randi packed up her apartment, told her job she was relocating and moved to Atlanta to be with Duncan. In Randi’s own words, it was one of the best decisions she has ever made.

Within 10 months they were engaged. Duncan planned it all. He hired a helicopter flight on the French Riviera, between Monaco and St Tropez, not far from where they decided to tie the knot. It is actually a hilarious story that involved broken headphones, a dropped ring, and Randi not even hearing the proposal. But to say the least, Duncan did everything he could to make the moment special for the two of them.

Although the pandemic pushed back their wedding plans, Randi and Duncan used the extra time wonderfully. They created their dream four-legged family. They have played house, acquiring a puppy, 3 kittens, and 4 horses! They learned more and more about one another and set a foundation for a great life ahead.

When we started planning the wedding with them, we wanted to really make a special celebration that honored their love story. The wedding weekend started with a catamaran cruise along the coast of the French Riviera followed by a welcome dinner in a hilltop chateau overlooking the seaside village of Eze.

The morning of the wedding the girls primped in the panoramic suite of the chateau which is filled with natural light. They took photos in the cobblestone streets of the authentic French village before heading to Villa Ephrussi for the ceremony in the Florentine gardens overlooking the Ville Franche Bay. After saying I do, the couple joined their guests in the upper gardens to sip champagne in the warm sun. There was the added fun of a magician who stopped by every guest group doing mini magic shows. The cocktail hour concluded with a show at the famous musical fountain in the large pond like a grand aquatic ballet. The guests all went to find their seats by looking for their names on custom macarons on each plate. We held dinner outdoors in the spacious gardens under the sparkling stars in the clear sky. A pyrotechnics show was held behind the cake cutting before moving everyone indoors to the grand ballroom for the party of a lifetime!

We asked Randi and Duncan to tell us what they loved about one another. Their replies were simply delightful. Randi described Duncan as a fantastic person. He is kind, caring, and generous. His determination knows no limits. He has an energetic personality that shines through everyday life. He is trustworthy and undoubtedly committed to the life that you have built together. But above all else, he makes her feel loved and safe. Randi said she knows that she can always count on him and that she found what a soul mate truly is when she met Duncan.

Duncan, not to be outdone, gave us a similarly long list. He described Randi as extremely loving, with a wonderful sense of humor. He boasted that she is patient and kind, in all ways. That although she is clearly beautiful on the inside, her beauty on the inside is what really is contagious. She is humble and down to earth and also easy-going, fun, and up for almost any adventure. That she is wonderful company in any situation and quite simply, his best friend.

Randi and Duncan clearly share the same aspirations and life goals. The support, security, respect, and love that they feel for one another is clear to see. They search only to bring positivity and happiness to each other and the people around them. They understand that a happy marriage will take love and balance. Their aim is to make the very most of their lives together, supporting each other in whatever life throws at them. They want to always stay connected and remain appreciative of what they have. They acknowledge that continuous support and care will make this happen. They want to want each other to feel special and loved. They are quite simply the perfect pair! Congratulations you two!
