We are so excited to share some sneak peeks from our recent Gordes elopement! This adorable couple from California wanted an intimate day to explore the world together.

Boho bride Katherine had never even visited France before they flew over to say their vows. They trusted us with all of the details and we have to say everything was picture perfect. We can’t wait to share all of the details on their real wedding feature but here is a quick recap!

The morning started as they prepared in a famous Provencal hotel. An antique car arrived to pick up the bride as they rode top down to the ceremony location.

The groom, Farzan, was waiting in a beautiful olive grove holding a single red rose as string musicians played in the sun.  After a touching ceremony, everyone made a toast to happily ever after as the couple shared stories from their years and years of friendship.

Next, K&F drove down to the famous Abbaye de Senanque for a few photos. They both marveled at the venue’s stillness and serenity, really soaking in the moment.

Then, we made the dash against the sunset to take a couple of shots at the jaw-dropping viewpoint overlooking Gordes village. The musicians played classics and new favorites like the song Skyfall which fit the dramatic view perfectly.

Lastly, we drove along the winding roads overlooking the countryside before taking a few photos with the sunset. The couple danced in the road and laughed at how quickly the day had come and gone. Their first big adventure complete.

To end the perfect day, the adventurous duo had a classic French dinner with 360 views and of course great wine.
